Professor makes computer programming very interesting.
Lectures are kind of annoying because I understand the book and the assignments but I can't follow during the lecture.
If our assignments on the syllabus only cover up to a certain chapter our quiz should only cover up to that chapter.
I'm extremely lost! I've never worked on a mac before, and this programming is foreign. I feel like I'm supposed to know everything already and in reality I know nothing. I don't feel like I'm learning. Every lecture/lab scares me even more and I wonder if I can make it through this class. HELP!
Quizzes test material we haven't learned yet or material that is from a future chapter.
I am very lost in this class. It would be helpful if you went through new material more thoroughly, explain it in more detail or stop and ask if everyone understands, versus assuming.
Lectures are confusing. Material is displayed without explanation of what it is or how it works or how we can do it. Unorganized--skips to much harder chapters without clear explanations. Just try to explain more about what you're showing us!
Some of the things in examples in class have not been covered in required reading (for example ERASE and RESET weren't in Ch. 3). Make sure to fully explain those--spend a little time on it since we've never seen it before.
Too many evaluations... 1 is sufficient.
Homework doesn't seem to relate at all to quizzes. After taking time to do 18 problems (MEX) it would be nice to see some of it on quizzes.
I like the fact that you have practice quizzes available for us to study from. They help me understand the material better because I don't really understand the course.
So far, it is difficult for me to understand, until I actually do the programs during lab.
He talks much too slow! I can literally say I'm bored to tears since I want to cry, he talks too slow, but the course is fun ... only in sections though! & too many quizzes.
