·        Kinematic and Kinetic Preliminaries

·        Yield Conditions

·        Hardening Models

·        Plasticity Postulates

·        Associative Plasticity

·        Non-Associative Plasticity

Grading:

There will be one midterm exam and the final exam.  In addition, homework will be graded.  Selected homework assignments will be used for 10% of the total grade.  These ‘selected’ homework assignments will be designated in advance.  The grades will be calculated as follows:

Midterm                 30%

Homework             10%

Final                       60%

Total                     100%

[Note:  There will be no make-up exam.  Hence, if the midterm is missed, or the designated homework assignments are not turned in on time, zero grades will be assigned to them.  The final exam will be given at the time and place designated in the ‘Schedule of Classes’].
